Camillus Couture

Camillus is a male artist and designer. I focus on the human figure, especially the face and how it can be distorted and contorted. I like to emphasize the emotional aspect of portraiture and by using monochrome colours and textures I create an inviting and thought-provoking image. My influences are the old masters, as well as modern, contemporary and surreal art. To sum up my style is portraits usually in monochrome brushstrokes with a blend of digital brushes to enhance visual appeal and to engage with the viewer.
