Carlos Andrade

Lisbon, Portugal, 1968.

1990 Degree in Art History from the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. 1994 course in conservation and restoration of sculpture having participated in several projects, including the restoration of the Jerónimos cloister. 1995 Scholarship from the Youth Foundation in Vigo, Spain.
His artistic path was developed between the space that today is the Sculptur Factory and the atelier at the Urmal factory in Pêro Pinheiro.
Between 2006 and 2018 he taught Artistic Cantery at the secondary school of Montelavar in Sintra.
From 2008 to 2018 he held the curatorship of the outdoor sculpture event in Amadora.
