Cari Cohen

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I am currently based in Miami where I work and have my studio. My work borders two and three dimensions. I am Inspired by architectural masters Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry, My visual language shares hard-edged lines with curves, inserting the organic into the angular square and breaking the rational towards the new and fantastic.

I have a degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, also specializing in multimedia design and photography through which I established her own Design firm in architecture and interior design in Buenos Aires, creating projects for international companies. Then in 2001, I was relocated to the USA where I completed coursework in painting at Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, also studying techniques for working with metals. I founded a creativity Art School, "The Fun Palette", to teach adults and children in a large range of innovative visual art fields. Also in 2016, I became a Certified Art Teacher for Golden and continues to teach along with her studio practice.
