An international artist with roots in Guernsey, Malta, Sydney, the Balearics and now Lisbon Portugal. Caroline was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and brought up in Malta in the middle of the Mediterranean.

"As an expressionist artist I chose to create paintings that help stir an emotion of joy and happiness. Choosing to paint the world around me as I see it!!
Capturing moments ´au plein d´air´or onboard a sailing yacht adds much excitement which can be enjoyed through my choice of vibrant acrylics and energetic brushstroke.

I like to begin my work outdoors on a ready coloured canvas, starting with a lively charcoal sketch and first layer of bright acrylic paint. It´s all about capturing every sense of the moment!

The performance of painting on site at the start of a sailing yacht regatta, at a historical site or capturing a beautiful scene adds to the energy so evident in my work. It also offers a fun factor to the audience present who often like to interact briefly.

Diploma in Artistic Cultural Management @ Heritage Malta

Caroline was chosen to take part in a mural project as part of the Sydney Olympics which led her to be chosen as the artist to represent Malta as part of the CHOGM (Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting) in 2002.

Subsequently she exhibited her Malta-inspired paintings at the United Nations in New York, central London at the Commonwealth Society and Harrods as part of the Malta Week in 2012. Caroline formed part of an artistic response to Domestic Violence in Paris at the Montmatre Town Hall in 2010 and a collective on female paintings by females in Seville Spain the year before. In 2008 Caroline was chosen to represent Malta as part of an Art Symposium in Pescara Italy where this work hangs in Pescara Contemporary Art Museum.

As part of Caroline´s artistic career she has managed her own gallery in the Hilton project and completed trophies commissioned for the Rolex Middle Sea Race in 2005 & 2006 plus worked as part of the special effects department for the blockbuster 'Troy'. She has taken part in several art auctions at the Ansbacher Private Bank in London in 2007 & the Malta President´s Charity Art Auction the year after.
