Cecilia Andersson

My name is Cecilia Andersson. I grew up in a tiny village, not far from the small town, Vimmerby, in the small country of Sweden. Have you heard of Pippi Longstocking? Astrid Lindgren, the author grew up here and many of her stories are set in the surroundings of Vimmerby. Now I live in Höör another small town in Sweden.

I grew up with the forest surrounding and most of my inspiration I get from there. I love nature and animals as they often appear in my art and design. My desire is never to copy nature, it stands for itself. My desire is to depict it in my own "language" and celebrate it my own way.

I use different techniques in my work because I like mixing different materials. Photography I've always been interested in but see my self more as a curious amateur with a lot to learn.
