Born London 1963. Avid collector of broken victorian dolls and old books. Ambition : to live in a haunted house. My work is figurative and allegorical. Drawing & painting women gives me licence to enjoy the the decorative elements of dress, the combination of static figures and movement, like billowing wind which makes hair blow, or creates intricate patterns. I love Art Nouveau & find inspiration in the work of Raphael Kirchner, Paula Rego & Kathe Kollwitz.
