Charles Linturn-Cooper

Born and brought up in Hampshire, Charles demonstrated an instinctive talent for art at a very young age, and decided very early on that art was to be both his passion and his profession.
A desire to create in 3D was encouraged by his creating a fully landscaped and detailed railway layout in his formative years, progressing to miniature gardens for dollhouses.
Always pushing the boundaries with his creations he began to experiment with casting and moulding materials, his creations increased in both size and ambition, culminating in the installation of his first work in resin in a sculpture garden at his old school. At college, having used mixed media in his first year, Charles was drawn to specialising in 3D Fine Art and gained exceedingly high grades, which could have created opportunity for further work at degree level.
However, having successfully completed a BTEC Extended Diploma in Art and Design, Charles declined further study at University, in favour of self -exploration and experimentation with his chosen field of 3D visual art.
