Creating paintings through a nature-derived process with a passion for environmental wellbeing. Each artwork begins outdoors: often up a mountain, or lake-side. Movements of birds’ flight are recorded in the form of lines and once back in the studio carefully transcribed onto the canvas. Charlotte’s paintings consist entirely of captured moments from The Lake District. New data is gathered for each painting, with no line ever repeated. Upon completion, the artwork is taken back outdoors, encompassing the origin of Charlotte’s artistic practice: appreciation of our natural landscape.
