London-based artist working between abstraction and emerging figuration, my practice explores atmosphere, memory, and perception through layered, dream-like environments.
Inspired by seasonal landscapes, personal memories, and everyday encounters with nature, my paintings begin with an instinctive urge to visualise and respond emotionally to colour.
Influenced by my mixed Burmese and Irish heritage, I use expressive mark-making and shifting forms to create works that exist within an uncertain terrain between recognition and abstraction.
I am interested in how painting can behave within different environments and how colour has the ability to transform perception, propose new possibilities, and create emotional connection across different experiences and backgrounds.
Through intuitive layering, subtle imagery and hidden forms emerge gradually, inviting viewers to look closely and form their own interpretations.
