My painting has not eluded of the influence of the European culture, namely, dependence on impressionists. It occurs as an echo, not always known and realized but always perceptible and inevitable. This continuity is not in tonality, not thematic, but in staging of instantaneous perceptibility of feelings and states, in an emotional scale of feelings. My creativity can be considered outside the context and without intermediaries, but it could not exist, could not have the emotional and aesthetic response and would be impossible without the influence of impressionism. My works do not drop out of tradition but they expand it introducing new sudden plots and new themes.
