Christine Bachmann

Christine Bachmann (*1979) lives and works as a visual artist, photographer, author, illustrator, and musician in Berlin. She studied photography at the Neue Schule für Fotografie in Berlin and was a master student under the guidance of Prof. Arno Fischer at the Ostkreuz School for Photography, Berlin. Her work has received multiple grants from the Käthe Dorsch and Agnes Straub Foundation, and she has been honored at the New York Photo Awards. Her work has been exhibited in various places, including the Galerie im Körnerpark, Kommunale Galerie Berlin, Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart, Powerhouse Arena New York, and the Photographic Centre Turku in Finland, among others. She is a member of SALOON Berlin.
