ОLeg Chuyko

Chuyko Oleg was born in 1974 in the town of Tlumach, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In 1990 he entered Kosiv V.Kasiyan college of Applied and Decorative Arts majoring in artistic woodworking and was awarded honours diploma in 1995.
In 1995 he entered the Precarpathian V.Stefanyk University continuing his professional education at the faculty of Arts. Graduating from the university in 2001 Oleg Chuyko took up postgraduate studies at the department of theory and history of arts of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts.
From 1999 till 2001 he worked as a teacher of Introduction to Christian Arts in Ivano-Frankivsk Theological Seminary.
From 2001 till 2005 he worked as an Assistant Professor of the Fine Arts and Design Department at the Institute of Arts of the Precarpathian V.Stefanyk National University.
In 2005 he obtained the degree of Kandidat of Arts (Doctor of Art Studies) specializing in Culture Theory and History (17.00.01).
Since 2005 Oleg Chuyko has been working as an Associate Professor of the Design Department at the Institute of Arts of the Precarpathian V.Stefanyk National University.
