Clare Shepherd

I was born in the South West UK, 1958, with a twin sister. I live and work on The Cranborne Chase in Dorset, UK.I'm interested in the construction of a landscape, the shapes which describe distance, the textures and colours which portray mood and beautifully applied paint. I like to see clear vision and intent in a painting.

I studied at Art School in Taunton and then went on to The Slade School where I was Slade Prize Winner on graduation.,
