Claudia Camposs

I was born on 1961 in So Paulo/ Brazil. I live in France since 2001. I trie to show my indignation in front of the contempt that contemporary civilization shows for the Brazilian natives. I work with divers materials as wood, bark of trees, plaster, mirrors, photos and fragments of the native culture. Through these objects - display cabinets , paintings, I create a confrontation between the signs of baroque and native expression. I hope to stimulate a productive reflection with a consequent action in favour of these people.

Education and biography:
2008 Master - Recherche en arts plastiques, Université Sorbonne .
1980/82 Licensed in Art education at Belas Artes University, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
