Clint Brown

Clint Brown was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated with a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973. He majored in sculpture and ceramics, working in clay, stone, wood and metals. He also built kilns and metal furnaces. He began painting sporadically from the mid 1980s on into the early 2000s. In the late part of 2017, after many years of running a business, he began working on a series of paintings which he describes as "cerebral landscapes" with the most favorable of results. His works have been shown and reside in private collections. These paintings are acrylic on ninety pound cold-pressed paper. The style is abstract, taking form as one looks at it over a period of time.
