Caroline Casey is a visual artist pursing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Art Therapy at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. During her second year at Endicott, Caroline won the First Place Award in the Student Invitational Exhibition for her painting Hidden by a Label. Caroline also received an Honorable Mention in the Jerry's Artarama Self Portrait Contest in 2016 for her painting Frustration.
Originally from Atkinson, New Hampshire, Caroline finds that the nurturing basis of a small town and supportive family impacts her focus on portraying human connection and personal peace in her work. Caroline discovered at a young age that art making was a powerful tool that could be used as both an escape, and a means to understand herself and the world around her. Caroline’s love of artistic expression and desire to help others led her to pursue a career in art therapy. Caroline studied abroad in Florence, Italy in the fall of 2016. This experience helped her gain confidence and a desire to explore, both in her art making practice, and in her life.
