A few years back I suffered a near-death experience after a reckless driver crashed into me while I was cycling. My whole world was turned upside down. It was essential for me to take stock, and to re-evaluate the world and my place within it. However painful and slow my recovery was, it forced me to take a close look at myself and embrace who I am. I now choose to distance myself from the stigma of labels that the modern-day world likes to place upon us. I believe that if you open your mind and truly dare to dream you can find peace within.
Art has been a therapy to me. I am able to enjoy the process with no expectations other than the stories I portray. My art is my one personal paradigm. It is how I see the beauty in the world. It is how I capture an event and freeze it in time. I hope you enjoy my work and are able to share in the positive energy. If my journey has taught me anything it is that life is about feeding your soul. From this internal process comes the happiness that can be shared with the outside world. I am grateful for every breath.
