Kanako Uno

Kanako Uno graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with an emphasis in painting and drawing in December, 2010. She was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. Uno's travels to many different countries in Asia and Europe over the past decade has greatly influenced her artwork by providing her with many cultural perspectives. Her current series of paintings are associated with her emotional stages of self-concept search in different cultures.
