Cornelius Delaney

My work speaks to the flavour of the current world—the rancorous disappointment, the tragedy and the horror—but there's also colour and humour. The one eyed man, the bandaged stranger, exotic mammals and 1973 are my tropes of choice at the moment and thick blobs of acrylic paint is my chosen poison.

I have a PhD in Visual Art and taught painting at university for 11 years.

My last exhibition was at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Grenoble (France) Sept 2015. I have exhibitied in Wales, Indonesia and most of the major cities in Australia.
