Carlos Saladen-Vargas

Born in Venezuela, October 1979.

Carlos' practice is informed by an interest in the ontological nature of the photographic image as well as its socio-political uses. He critically engages with issues attaching to spectatorship and dissemination of photographic works.

Saladen-Vargas is co-founder of , an international collaborative project that allows artists to disseminate their work and ideas without the necessity to fit mainstream curatorial agendas.

Since 2009 he has organised shows in London, Barcelona, Mexico City and New York.
