Cyrielle Recoura

I was born at the foot of the majestic French Alps in Grenoble. The 3000 meter high peaks were part of my childhood. They witnessed my first falls while skiing and watched over me.

Until the day I had to leave the mountains. First my studies and then my first passion, basketball, made me move away from Grenoble.

But in 2016, fate knocked on my door. I moved to Bad Aibling, a beautiful village at the foot of the Bavarian Alps.

I didn't speak a word of German at the time, but I immediately fell in love with the region. In Bad Aibling, I discovered my second great passion, which would become my profession a few years later: art.

My work is dedicated to all mountain lovers. I create art for people who are at home at the foot of snow-capped peaks and appreciate the tranquil power of mountain nature.

You know those days when you want to put on your backpack and head for the mountains... but you're stuck in the office because you're up to your neck in work?

Those days when you long for fresh air in the mountains?

On those days, I want my artwork to remind you of the sense of inner peace and accomplishment you feel when you reach the summit.
