Sherry Solow

Born in the Bronx, NY. lived in Manhattan, Greenwich Village currently lives and works in Westchester County, NY

I've alway been inspired by the impressionists and post impressionists. Van Gogh, Daumier,Utrillo to mention a few ....I also find a Pathos in Picasso's Blue period which affects much of my work. After leaving NYC and moving to Westchester county I saw a beauty that was new to my senses and fell in love with the Hudson River, and magnificent skies and landscapes. Every day I am inspired by "God's Palette"

I studied painting and form with Henri Traguba in NYC. After graduating from the HS of Music & Art, I attended the National Academy of Fine Art in NYC. I studied privately with Edgarr Reinhardt in Amsterdam,Holland.
