Ignazio Davoli

Ignazio Davoli was born in Nuoro ( Sardinia - Italy ) in 1975

He moved to London in 2013

He comes from a family of artisanThe Davolis were pioneers and protagonists of a story where the stone and its layers were addressing the quarrymen to reading a design intended for them. This was the context where grew the passion of a boy for the stone. After his studies Ignazio starts to work in the family laboratory and quarries he studies the intrinsic nature of the stone.
After few years he moved in Trentino Alto adige(Italy) to studied sculpture on the professionale school for stone carving and stonemason. The hands do what the mind thinks, the stone makes us breathe an air of freedom, the technique makes the stone alive
