Dany Caraty

Hello, i'm a French artist living in Marseille, France.

Art has always been part of my life. In my childhood with my mother whose specialty is oil painting. Then through my studies of graphic art, which led me to practice the profession of graphic designer print and web.

I find my inspiration in two main subjects: the animals with which I have always lived, and the woman, for her wisdom and voluptuousness.

I like to draw light and shadow, volumes, gossip (human and animal) that reflect the deepest part of the soul.
I use several techniques: white chalk, black stone, sanguine, pens, acrylic and oil paint, on Canson paper, kraft and canvas.

I studied traditional techniques and graphic arts from 2001 to 2004 at the Brassart school in Tours, famous in France since 1949.

After my studies, in order not to lose my touch, I took evening classes at the Beaux Arts school in Orléans (France), in still life and nudes.
