Darin M. White is an artist, independent curator and art consultant based in Lawrence, Kansas. With his wife Shannon White, a painter and arts advocate they founded b.a.l.m. | beauty, art & life movement in 2007. His hope and desire is to continue to work as a catalysis on art productions, curations and events to encourage and promote art and artists as well as his own work, searching for ways of exploring and communicating about life and important revelations through art.

In January of 2012 White curated an exhibition Earth: Language and Symbols for Cara Y Cabezas Contemporary in Kansas City, MO in which he exhibited "The Curators Note", two prints related to the exhibition. Also in January he co-produced and exhibited in the performative DANNON ART project at the Lawrence Arts Center. In October he co-produced and curated, b.a.l.m. Maps the Kemper: Lines, Dots and the Spaces in between at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.
In April of 2012 White had a solo exhibition OVERFLOW in Brooklyn, NY and in September White had another solo exhibition entitled OVERFLOW: Back From New York in the Kansas Union Memorial gallery as the first in the new alumni series, curated by Gina Adams. In January of 2013 White had a solo show at the Bourgeois Pig display photographs, prints and drawings from the Overflow Exhibitions.
