David Alfonso

Graphic designer, illustrator and artist, graduated in graphic design by Instituto Superior de Diseño de La Habana (ISDI), lives in Brazil since 2007.

Founder of the collective Camaleón illustrators in 2000, has participated in exhibitions such as poster designer and illustrator in Cuba, Ecuador and USA. Recently received mention in the graphic design category, for the stage design project of the Carnival of Recife 2016 at the Ibero-American Biennial of Design in Madrid, BID2016

Among the awards achieved stand out Tocororo in the II International Festival of Communication Public Property of Havana; Espacio Award 2004: National Award illustration La Rosa Blanca at the International Book Fair of Havana and Oficina Nacional de Diseño (ONDI) Award 2004, 2016

Since 2013 works as an illustrator and set designer in the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns (FIG) and scenographic project of Recife Carnival 2014, 2015 and 2016.
