Davonte Bradley

Davonte was born in Virginia Beach, VA but was raised by his mother in Atlanta, GA alongside his older brother and sister. Davonte suffered from chronic asthma complications as a child, so most of his free time was spent drawing, playing video games, or working on a computer indoors.

Davonte currently lives in Richmond, VA with his wife of three years and their calico Empress Meliara. He's resided VA for the past five years after also graduating from college in VA.

Davonte's first artistic works were described as almost cubist in nature. Later he was inspired by popular culture, comics, and some of the video games he loved to play. It wasn't until fairly recently that he began experimenting with a more painterly style and began using his art as a means to express his thoughts and emotions. This shift eventually resulted in Davonte focusing on a more abstract style focusing on the use of color and shapes to convey his innermost self.

He works almost entirely in the digital space. Curiously enough, Davonte hasn't actually touched a paintbrush in nearly seven years. Instead, Davonte uses an art tablet monitor and various software to craft his work. He opted to create digitally rather than traditionally mostly out of necessi...
