Demetria Head

Demetria Head’s artistic ability stems from a family of extraordinarily gifted artists, under whom she’s received some of her artistic knowledge. Although she doesn’t have a degree in the area of Fine Art, Demetria Head strives to perfect her craft daily by learning from various artists in a variation of mediums and artistic genres. She’s also studied the painting styles of Degas and Monet over the past ten years or so. Her subject spectrum embraces landscape, still life,nature, floral, portraiture and figurative. Having painted unique pieces in pastel and watercolor, she understands and enjoys how each medium compliments and challenges the other. Demetria Head's hope is that the viewer’s experience of her stories on canvas and paper will inspire deep and meaningful associations within their own lives. Additionally, she hopes to learn from others in the artistic community as she delves deeper into her own artistic journey. She is thankful for her gifts and enjoys painting from inspiration in addition to sharing her art with the world. She resides in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan,USA.
