I was born in 1968 in France, at the foot of the Alps, where the mountains plunge into the famous Lake Annecy. In my early years, I learned to consider transparencies and depths and volumes in their gigantism. Since my arrival in Paris in 1989, I’m a visual artist and industrial designer (always the story of volumes) : two formations that complement each other give me a great freedom of action. It is the leaders of the Lyrical Abstraction who motivate among other things my choice to paint. I try to go further, to look for the essentials in me and I give everything feeling like a sportsman after the race !

Different formations such as Fine Arts bring to me the classic basics that I quickly wanted to go beyond. Abstract Art is not an easy way but a thought and accomplished construction. Every day at my workshop, I build my paintings like volumes. I work on the ground to build around the canvas for a reading that works whatever the privileged angle. I’m looking for unexpected chromatic alliances because each work is a moment that produces in me a tone, a rhythm, a gesture, an harmony and an unique and special feeling that is demanding in its transcription. Paintings is the best way to bring out what I do not know to say. To be honest with the moment chosen because we are not waterproof beings. I try to create a resonance between the world we perceive and our intimate. That’s my challenge as a painter. We are the world, it's not just before our eyes, we're constantly moving with him. We are nuances, like him.
