I am a realist artist living and painting in Northern Virginia, USA. Aside from my husband and three amazing children, my passion is painting the ordinary that makes you feel extraordinary. I delight in creating fine art pieces that make you want to pick up a magnifying glass and get close to them. Layer upon layer of color and texture draw you into my world, my space, where I hope to make you smile!

I am a self taught artist, although I have been painting commisions and entering art shows since 1979. I do have a degree - in chemical engineering. I think my inner engineer sneaks into much of my artwork. Past art exhibitions include MASF, MSPGS, Cider Painters of America, Fells Point, Ice House Gallery, Seaside, Parklane, Snow Goose Gallery to name a few. I've also exhibited pieces locally at Art in the Foothills, Art at the Mill, Bluemont Fair, Waterford Fair., wLAST studio tour, Oatlands, Art Square.
