Mathias Kunfermann

Mathias Kunfermann was born in 1966 in Thusis, Switzerland. In 1996 he founded the demateo Inc. and worked as a professional freelance photographer since then; Most of his works contain the subject industrial photography, with focus on energy and construction. His artistic work attends to mountain landscapes and natural structures. With the camera, I affect reality: reflecting light rays, interpreted through a cameras technical elements, are recorded over a defined period of time as the word photography, in Greek writing with light, says. Therefore photography becomes one possible interpretation of one possible reality. My personal reality behind my images contains different factors such as emotions and feelings, outside influences like the weather or temperatures, being alone, or sharing an experience with someone else. To the viewer, I offer my own personal reality. Or simple: Thats how it was and thats it.Reality is interpretation.
