Denise Mitchell

My work has been exhibited at numerous exhibitions within the UK including the National Exhibition of Wildlife and with The Society of Wildlife Artists at the prestigious Mall Galleries, in London. I have won various awards for my work.

I consider myself primarily to be a tonal painter. I do try to evoke a sense of light, atmosphere and emotion and my approach can be quite traditional or painterly depending upon how I wish to portray my vision.

My love of nature is often featured within my work, such as wildlife with a particular fascination for birds, the feline & equestrian families and natural landscapes.
