Devisu Gallery

Valerio Porru, aka Devisu, was born in Cagliari on November 14, 1982. He collaborates as an actor and in the creation of sets for various theatrical performances at the Spazio Fornace Theater in Cagliari. He deepens the studies already begun in art school on the techniques of stone carving, wood engraving, and modeling in general. From 2007 he began to take an interest in illustration, driven by the desire to illustrate and interpret his own readings, creating a series of drawings of an ironic world, overturning the relationship between man and animal. In 2011 he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design at the University of Florence. During the years of study he realizes graphic and interior design projects and he refines his artistic technique in drawing and painting. He lives and works in Florence.

Devisu's artistic research translates into a continuous experimentation of shapes and colors. Vivid and dynamic, the latter become the absolute protagonists of his works, which are placed in the wake of abstract minimalism.
