Diana Bakoush

I am Diana Bakoush. A self taught Egyptian visual artist.
My infatuation for art started early, from being born in Northern Egypt, and growing up residing by the Omani coastline.

Being surrounded by this intact nature and from a family that loves art, unleashed all my talents and embraced a true sense of who I am. Let alone exposed to different cultures and nature during my work in aviation later on.

I'm working with various mediums such as oil paints, acrylics, charcoal, graphite pencils, pastels, alcohol ink and I keep experimenting with new materials and techniques, as art is my way of life.

My art work has proudly found its way to several international exhibitions and competitions across UAE (where I currently live), Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Italy and USA where it was both celebrated and awarded. As well as getting awarded from Turkey as the best artist for the year 2021.
