Diego Beyró

His training in the artistic field is mostly self-taught.
He spent two years at the Fabrica art residence, the artistic foundation of the Benetton family, in Italy. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Israel, the United States, Mexico, Chile and Argentina.

Diego Beyró's creation is permeated by his intimate life, his daily life and his travels, which represent the greatest source of inspiration.
His works, mainly manifested as series, have a self-referential and introspective approach. His practice formally starts from photographs that he takes that become drawings or intervened paintings.

In his most recent creations he explores the practice of walking, experiencing a meditative and exploratory state. In particular, from the trip the "Camino de Santiago" that he made through different routes, walking about 900 kilometers each time, images emerge that are reinterpreted and transformed as a way to reactivate the body and return to the step-by-step harmony of these journeys. Whether through the portrait of a simple dog, a plate of food, a sleeping bag or a backlit landscape, the artist tries to generate a connection in the form of a journey with the viewer.
