Dilek UzunoğLu Örs

Born in Izmir in 1974 to architect parents, the artist's interest in painting began at a young age. After her undergraduate degree in economics and postgraduate degree in business administration, she worked in managerial positions in various multinational companies. She had the opportunity to continue her passion for painting during the pandemic.

She gets inspired by nature, music, cinema, literature and stories of everyday people. She says she is trying to interpret the world the way she sees and is in a continuous search of freedom and balance. She loves to work with different materials and tools, use uncommon colour matches and create texture with brand new techniques.
