My work is inspired by the extraordinary beauty, diversity, and complexity of the natural world.

For more than a decade, I have travelled and lived aboard a sailing vessel, collecting seashells, sea glass, and other materials from coastlines throughout the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans. These carefully gathered specimens form the foundation of my artistic practice.

Working with hundreds of individual shells, I create intricate geometric relief compositions that explore colour, rhythm, texture, and pattern. Each piece is assembled by hand, transforming natural materials into structured arrangements that reveal the remarkable diversity found within marine life.

The process begins long before the artwork itself. Years of collecting, sorting, and studying specimens allow me to build an extensive archive of forms, colours, and textures shaped by nature. Drawing from this collection, I create compositions that balance order and complexity, inviting close observation and discovery.
