Debra Hillard

Art is a journey of self exploration. Looking inward to the unseen world that is uniquely mine, I continually uncover the truth for myself as a woman, an artist and as a human being. My work is inspired by and evokes the very essence of creation. Painting is my way of turning myself inside out and revealing the most tender, yet powerful aspects of being a woman and living in a woman's body. My job as an artist is to communicate that in the hope of inspiring others to look within themselves and live their lives more authentically.
