Izabela Stronias

Izabela Stronias, art director, costume, stage designer and university lecturer.
She is an academic staff member at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow at the Faculty of Painting, the Department of Stage Design.
Izabela Stronias conducts a Theatre and Film Costume Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion Design.
She is engaged in stage and costume design for theatre and film.
Although painting is significantly present in her stage and film projects, the exhibitions of her paintings and drawings have been occasional.
In interviews Izabela Stronias often emphasizes the intuitive nature of her paintings, which serves as a revealing insight, being also evaluative and creative. For her painting requires maximum concentration and continuous listening to the inner voice.
Izabela Stronias as an academic staff member of the Academy of Fine Arts publishes scientific works on mathematics and art as well as theatrical scenery.

She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she obtained the Doctor of Fine Arts degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Department of Stage Design.
She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and completed the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Lodz.

Her first solo exhibition was held a year after graduating from the prestigious Art Gallery BWA Wrocław- Hatzweld's Palace in 1992. The latest solo exhibition of her paintings took place in the Grand Hotel Gallery in Lodz in 2015.
