EXHIBITIONS

Dolph KAYITANKORE is a self-taught visual artist born on 31st January 1992 in Rwanda's
Kigali city. Since he was a child he has always felt that kind of artistic curiosity that made him
look beyond the challenges of reality and imagine the possibility of the future through painting.
He uses art to express his feelings through works on canvas, sculpture, and public murals. His
works focus on raising the awareness of issues in our society to help break down barriers, he
often offers a social commentary of Rwandan History, the movement of daily life and the
African artist's experience.

His formal artistic career began in 2009 when he joined INGANZO Arts as an apprentice,
diligently working to receive training in art while fully supporting his younger brothers, even
though he was only a teenager himself.

in many
exhibitions, partnering with several international and local artists.
the art exhibition, My Democracy, at the Kigali US Embassy in 2014 and also participated in the
2014 Imago Mundi project through which his art was later exhibited in Venice, Italy. In the next to those,.. my painting
were exposed at the Charlie Dutton Gallery in London 2012. but also in several places in
Rwanda like the US Embassy (Exhibition I have dream) in 2016. In 2019 he joined RURAL
AFRICAN ART GALLERY, In Eastern province Kayonza Rwanda, until this present moment.
