Drew Watts

Drew Watts began painting in oils at the age of twelve. He studied painting at the University of Georgia, where he also took the opportunity to study painting and drawing throughout Cuba, and later for a year in Heidelberg, Germany. Following graduation from UGA and his Exit show in 2007, he received an internship with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, and then with the Department of Press, Publications, and Archives at White Cube in London. At White Cube he also assisted Gilbert & George for their opening of 'Jack Freak Pictures' in the summer of 2009 and also received the opportunity to exhibit his own work at the Courtauld Gallery. Drew currently lives and works in New York.
