Edel comes from a family with an artistic lineage. Her German grandmother painted and sculpted clay in her spare time, amidst raising her five children.
Her grandmother died very young, and they never met in person, but they connected through her artwork, which we cherish as our family's most precious treasure.
Edel bears her name; I am the only granddaughter with that privilege, and I believe destiny has led me to follow in her footsteps.
Born in Buenos Aires, Edel creates from the pulse of emotion, from that which cannot be easily named but is deeply felt. Through photography, sculpture, and painting, Edel explores the invisible territories of the heart, translating sensations into form, color, and texture.
For over a decade, art has been a way for her to inhabit the world: a language to express the fragile beauty of being alive. Driven by an early desire to see and understand the world, Edel has traveled and lived in different places, carrying fragments of each encounter into her work.
Each piece is a reflection of movement—between joy and silence, between the known and the unknown—an invitation to feel the emotions that shape us, in all their raw and luminous truth.
