I grew up in the 1950's in the picturesque New England town of Arlington, Vermont. It was there that I acquired my inspiration and appreciation of the beauty of nature. Though I left the Green Mountains of Vermont many decades ago, it continues to inspire my artwork today. My photography and paintings of nature's landscapes had their beginnings in the mountains and towns of Vermont. Arlington was also the home and studio of Norman Rockwell. His paintings inspired me on a personal level, by his fascination with the simple lives of the genuine people of this wonderful community. He painted my neighbor and his mother, plus many others in town, who appeared on the covers of The Saturday Evening Post. His art museum still exists there today.
I hope to convey this natural beauty in my artwork and inspire others to see it in the world around them.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Dayton in 1973.
