Ekaterina Platonova

Born on 1993 in the city of Kambarka, the Udmurt Republic. Lives and works in Moscow.
Ekaterina Platonova is one of the most temperamental young Russian artists. She's a painter. Author of objects, installations. Experimenter in the field of photo and video art. Objects and sculptures of Ekaterina Platonova pure forms, whose work critics compare with the works of Hans ARP, the founder of abstract sculpture, Katharina Grosse.
Painting of Ekaterina Platonova includes figurative and abstract compositions. Painting includes by a combination of several styles in one image: Hyper-realism, abstraction, expressionism. In different periods of the artist is influenced by different styles such as realism, Hyper-realism, op art, pop art, automatic writing, expressionism, minimalism, conceptual art.
Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad: in the collection of the collector Igor Tsukanov, Artem Krivda - producer, designer fashion shows.

2017 – graduated from the educational programme "New artistic strategies" of the Institute of contemporary art, Moscow.
2015 - graduated from the Udmurt State University Institute of Arts and design, faculty of ARTS, specialization "Painting and pictorial composition", workshop, honored worker of culture of the Udmurt Republic, Member of Union of artists of Russia and the Union of artists of Udmurtia is known as an artist Orlov Sergei Anatolyevich.
