Creativity has always been a part of my life and I've explored many avenues. I have been able In the past three years to focus and express my artistic visions. I am now creating and enjoying a full time opportunity to explore the landscape and paint. I have roots in four corners of Canada and am now living in Southern Alberta receiving what I see as some well deserved warmth. I plan to get out and about, weather permitting, as much as possible and enjoy the change of scenery and road trips to new places.
I have seized opportunities to learn from others. I find the most significant education comes from doing. I've been on watercolor workshops with Tom Lynch, Kathy Miller-Stone, Chinese brushwork and a variety of on-line tutorials. It will be a lifelong journey to continue to learn and explore new possibilities.
In 2017 I was accepted as one of 14 Yukon Territory emerging artists to participate in the Canada 150th Birthday Mural Project. There were gallery shows in Whitehorse (Yukon Arts Centre), Haines Junction Yukon Territory and it also traveled to Ottawa.
