Paints and colors have fascinated me from the childhood. I had only one art book - The Encyclopedia of the Young Artist, which I read plenty of times. However, fate turned out the other way and I was working in a totally different sphere for a long time. Only after many years had passed, I realized that you should not leave what you love. I have no special art education. But I try to fill my works with love, different experiences and thoughts, covering various topics. One of them is childhood. When you are a child you are pure, innocent and unprotected from the cruel adult world. As well, I am concerned about the issues of ecology and wildlife. How many species of animals and plants will disappear due to the humans’ activity, and what will we leave to future generations?

But I do not always aim to show specific questions and problems in my works. In some cases I approach them through the state of meditation. In such works I want to create something esthetic, beautiful for the eyes, resulting in a state of clarity, inner peace.
