Work exhibited at l'Espace Dupont in Paris after winning Gold Medal in Fine Art Figure and Nudes, Bronze Medal overall in Fine Art and also Honorable Jury Mention at the 2011 Paris Prix de la Photographie competition.

Elena Gallotta is an award winning Italian fine-art photographer based in Ireland.

Her work exhibited with Vogue Italia in Milan and her piece "W O M B" has been acquired by the Saatchi Gallery in London as a Showdown winner.

Elena was selected to exhibit at the 54th Venice Biennale of Art.

Artists from all over the world were selected through the Italian Institutes of Culture, but she had the honour of also been offered a residency by the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs as a gift to network with Venetian and international art institutions. Among other highlights, the residency included a private tour of the Peggy Guggenheim collection.

In 2011 Elena was also awarded an exhibition at l'Espace Dupont in Paris, after winning a Gold Medal in Fine Art at the Paris Prix de la Photographie competition.

In the same year "I N D I G O" wins a Bronze Medal at the International Photography Awards (Los Angeles).

Thanks to the kindness of David Land, she was honoured to be featured on the "Royal Photographic Society Journal".

Elena's way of composing a picture and working with light is influenced by her passion for paintings, especially the Old Italian and Dutch Masters.

Her work has been published in art magazines throughout Europe and has been acquired by private collectors around the world.
