Elena Visotto

Elena Visotto (1990, Motta di Livenza) lives in the province of Venice and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. In 2018/19 he exhibited in numerous initiatives including the most recent, “Human Right? EDU ”and“ Human Right? CLIMA "human rights exhibitions in Rovereto sponsored by UNESCO," BIBART "International Biennial of Art in Bari," VeniceLands ArtPrize "in Treviso and the radio program" My Europe, Tales Beyond The Common "at Radio Onda Italiana in Amsterdam.

Artistic research

My artistic work wants to take a look at a hypothetical future giving a feeling of emptiness, where nothing exists except the possibility of starting over.
I draw inspiration not only from the environment around me and from the great masters of the past but also from what globalization allows to achieve today, but I consider shamanism to be of fundamental importance, because I consider shamans as those who best understand the phenomenon of transformation or transmutation of matter.
In my work I depict individual subjects composed of animal and plant parts of various extinct living beings or at risk of extinction due to climate change, from intensive farming and cultures, from DNA modifications etc ... They are animals and plants mutat...
