Elham Ghoreishi

Elham Ghoreishi (b. 1980, Tehran) is an artist, writer, and equestrian based in Amsterdam. Working primarily in mixed media, her art explores themes rooted in Persian heritage, often featuring women and horses as central figures. Deeply conceptual, her work bridges Iranian and European artistic traditions, shaped by the experience of immigration. Her practice moves fluidly between painting and storytelling, each medium informing the other. As she puts it: "I paint the stories and write the stories of the paintings."
