EXHIBITIONS

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist whose main focus is Photography and Calligraphy-Painting. I was born and raised in the land of poetry and sun; Iran whose history, literature, and artistic heritage penetrated into every single cell of my body and mind and made me so in love with life.

I got my Bachelor’s Degree in English Teaching and my Master’s Degree in Photography. So, I have been teaching language, art and culture all my life.

Considering my artistic approach, I have always been trying to portray the concepts which have been my main concerns like Migration, Being a Woman, Immigration, Quarantine and the like. Through my images and my calligraphy-painting art, I always tell stories of people, believing that realities in life mostly get too complicated that we could form them through stories; and I am here to capture and imprison the reality to show to the world.

Since 2015 that I moved to Toronto, I have had 3 solo exhibitions and I have been part of 18 group shows. In addition, I have worked with many amazing organizations like Street ART Toronto, Art Starts, Contact festival and the like.
